Hello!! Oh things have been crazy, crazy, crazy! Aren’t they always though!!
Well, if you haven’t noticed, Mel totally pimped my blog out!! I LOVE IT!! She asked me to make her some specific designs and I love how they turned out!! So I thought I would share them with you!!!
I picked a winner for my “Name This Kit” Contest!! There were so many awesome names!! But I loved this one the best (for today’s Modern Princess)

Every other month, a group of my “Mom” friends and I volunteer at a local soup kitchen and prepare and serve dinner. Today was our day. As always, it was so rewarding (and fun— my “Mom” friends are awesome). But it also makes me thankful for all of the things in my life that I take for granted. Especially in today’s economy, things can come and go so very quickly. There was a gentleman there tonight who had just lost his house today. My heart really went out to him. I can’t imagine how that must feel. I love this shelter. They are truly doing God’s work and I feel honored that I get to help out, even if it’s just a few hours every couple months. So I know he’s in the right place and they’ll be able to help him. I guess I’m rambling, but he’s on my mind (and in my heart). I just thought I would share.

Oh Kami, thank you for the free gorgeous papers and elements! Mel did an awesome job on your blog! And what an amazing experience helping others.. that man will be in my prayers tonight too.. along with all the other homeless, less fortunate. HUGS!

I absolutely LOVE the name! No Price Required!! Yes! That’s actually going to be my new “motto”…. I am a fabulous, 35-year-old divorcee and I am lovin’ life! I love my kids, my family, my friends, my art, I just love everything and I am doing it all….. you got it, WITH NO PRINCE! He hasn’t come along just yet….but he will. Until then, I’ll be loving life all the way!
You are such an awesomely sweet person! I do some volunteer work myself, and I must say, it is rather gratifying. It truly does mean so much to those you help and it makes you step back and appreciate all that you have… it works for everyone! I hate that anyone has to lose their home, or go thru any tragedy, but I am so glad that there are wonderful people in this world that will lend a helping hand! You go girl! I love your blog, your designs and your humor. Ya crack me up, sister!
