Digital Scrapbook Layout from Magazine Cover

Hi Guys!!
SO- I was browsing Pinterest this morning and I saw this cover of Esquire Magazine:

I was immediately drawn to it! The more I looked at it, the more I fell in love with it and the more I wanted to scraplift it! So I looked through my stash and I found this picture I took of Zoe in Hawaii.

If I had a nickle for every photo I have of her making this face…. I could afford to go back to Hawaii! Zoe has no love of the picture taking…. I thought this picture would be PERFECT for this layout!! So I extracted the picture and worked some RadLab Magic, scoured my font stash for the perfect fonts and put together a layout:

I love it! This is so our photo taking experience! I’m trying to convince Zoe to look at my camera and smile and she’s staring blankly off in to space…. LMBO! I know one day when she gets older, she’s going to look back at these pictures and ask me where all the pictures of her smiling are and now I can point her to this layout! This is Zoe… this is me… this is totally US! And all from the cover of a magazine! So next time you see an image that grabs your eye- no matter where it is, take a second look! You just might be able to turn it in to a digital scrapbook layout!!
