Hi Fantacy!! This one’s for you!
I’ve been enjoying some down time for the past week and a half! Once I got home from helping Mel move, I needed a little break and to spend some time with Zoe!! Every day I think, I need to go blog, but it seems like there are so many things I’ve needed to catch up on that I just kept forgetting!!
So I’ve been enjoying the summer, swimming and catching up with friends!! Today Zoe and I made cupcakes! She love helping us cook (and clean!!!)! They are delicious. Even though I also started a new diet and I’m technically not supposed to be eating things like cupcakes…. ehem…
Yes, I started a new diet called Medifast and it’s going really well!! I’m looking forward to buying some skinny jeans! Heehee!!!!
I have been designing a little bit. I’ve got some new products coming out this week, including a collaboration I did with Malinda from Designs by Mhulshoff (one of the Scrap Orchard Seedlings)!! In fact, Ellie, Shauna, Lauren & Amy (Polka Dot Plum) and I all “peared” up with a different Seedling designer and made collaboration kits and they’re all going to be released this Friday!! And they are ALL WAY CUTE!!
I was going to blog about the Olympic Opening Ceremonies because they were INCREDIBLE!! I seriously sat there with my mouth hanging open the whole time, just awed by the coordination it took to pull off all of the spectacular acts!! Did you guys see them? What was your favorite? I think my favorite was the one with all the blocks. Halfway through I asked Ryan… Are there people in there? Like that can’t be people doing that.. right? That’s got to be a computer or something…. Unbelievable!!
Tomorrow is date night! We’re going to go to the movies. We are going to see either The Pineapple Express or Tropic Thunder. We haven’t decided yet but I really want to see both, so I’m cool either way!!
I’m also working on a very special collaboration with two extremely talented designers for a very special charity project!! More on that to come!!
OH! And I want to tell you about a very special program that will be on all the national (and international) stations on September 5 called Stand Up To Cancer. You can find out more about it here:
http://www.standup2cancer.org/
And a very good friend of mine will be on the show representing the Ronald McDonald House! She’s so excited about this charity! They are working to unite and share all the research done on cancer in the hopes that there are bits and pieces throughout all the different research programs that when put together will bring us closer to finding a cure! It’s actually really cool and I’m excited to watch it and see her!!
Ok, enough rambling! I need to get to bed!! I’ll be back tomorrow with some previews of my new products!
Sorry I’ve been away so long!!
